Latest Government Announcement

Following the government announcement on Monday, we are so excited that it has been confirmed we can open our doors on the 12th April!


We apologise it has taken us until now to get in touch and confirm this.  We have had some technical issues with our operating system, but these are thankfully resolved so we are able to get in touch to provide some important information on our reopen. 


As of the 12th April, the following activities can resume:


  • Gym – we will be operating the same as before with no booking system at present but will implement one if it becomes necessary

  • Swimming – we will be operating the same as before with no booking system in the Lane Swimming Pool.  There will be a booking system at peak times (weekends, bank holidays and school holidays) in the Fun Pool.  These sessions are now available to book!  Please click this link to book

  • Children’s swimming lessons – your class bookings remain the same as before

  • Gymnastics lessons –your class bookings remain the same as before


Please note that due to the government guidelines the following will not be operating until the 17th May at the earliest


  • Workout Classes

  • Adult swimming lessons

  • Café


Member payments


Advance members

All members who pay annually upfront for the year have received an extension of the number of days that the government imposed for the lockdown, up to and including the 11th April.  Your memberships will all be active again as of the 12th April unless you have already contacted us to request an extended freeze, and you can use them as normal from then.


Direct Debit members – Gym, Swim, Lessons and Gymnastics

All direct debits will be started again from May 2021 and will take place on or around the 1st of the month as normal.  If you cancelled your direct debit at the bank please reply to this email ASAP to arrange to complete a new direct debit mandate.  If you have already emailed to request an extended freeze then this has been put on for you.  For any direct debit members wishing to use the facilities for the remainder of April we will be asking you to pay by cash or card at reception on your first visit back.  We are aware that members will have lost the remaining days in December from when the lockdown started so as a goodwill gesture to make it as fair as possible the payments are as follows:


If you visit from the 12th April to the 18th April there will be a one off £10 payment which covers you until the 30th April

If you visit from the 19th April to the 25th April there will be a one off £5 payment to make which covers you until the 30th April

If you visit from the 26th April onwards there will be no payment to make.


Covid Safety


The safety of our customers and staff continue to be a priority to us and the same restrictions and measures that we had in place prior to the lockdown will be in place.  For more information on Covid safety please visit the FAQ page of our website

We hope you are keeping well and looking forward to things starting to open up, we can’t wait to open our doors again!
With the potential 12th April open date still subject to change from the government, we wanted to email to confirm that we will not be taking any direct debit payments for April.  Don’t worry, we will still be opening our doors at the earliest opportunity when the government confirms it is ok to do so.  We will email to confirm what we will be doing for payments once the dates are all confirmed as going ahead.
Annual members will receive additional days for the whole time that we are closed once the dates are all confirmed.
We have been regularly sharing workout tips and online classes via our Facebook throughout the lockdown, and we hope you have enjoyed this and found it helpful.  If you have been working out at home, and have used some of our workouts we want to hear from you!  Please reply to this email with any information you are happy to share on what you have been doing for your home workout classes, or which of our classes you took part in.  If you could include a photo of yourself taking part in the exercise and your permission to share it on our Facebook, we’d love to put together a tribute to all your hard work at the end of this.

There is finally light at the end of the tunnel with a date that we might potentially be able to welcome you back.

If all goes well then we look forward to reopening our doors on the 12th April.
Just to confirm, all direct debit memberships currently remain frozen and no money will be taken for March.  We will confirm any payments for April nearer the time, once we have more details on how we can open, and the dates are looking a bit more certain. 
Annual memberships will have the total number of days that we have been closed for added on to them once the dates are confirmed.
We can’t wait to see you all again soon, and will be in touch with any more information as soon as we can.
