Technical Assistant

 

Contract Type:  Full Time

Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the delivery of maintaining the centres swimming pools, gym and associated facilities for its customers.

 

The post holder will be required to consistently provide; reactive maintenance & repair, a professional & effective minor works refurbishment, and planned preventative maintenance.

 

The effective operation of the facility’s swimming pool plant rooms and repairs and maintenance will form a major part of the role. We are therefore looking for an individual with experience of working preferably within a building trade, maintenance or leisure centre based experience.

Lifeguards

 

Contract Type:  Full and Part Time

Description: We are currently recruiting lifeguards to supervise our busy swimming pools. The successful candidates will be fit, healthy, and available to work a variety of shift patterns. They will have undertaken or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS Criminal Records Check and Child Protection Training.

Essential Skills: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification & high customer service standards - for a limited time we are offering this training and qualification FREE to successful candidates.

Desirable Skills: First Aid at Work qualified, experience in the leisure industry, have an understanding of health and safety.

Receptionist

Contract Type: Casual must be flexible for morning, evening and weekend availability

 

Description: We are currently looking for casual reception cover for our busy Leisure Centre. You will be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills, promote excellent customer service and enjoy working as part of a team.  The successful candidate will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role.

 

Essential Skills: Candidates will be able to demonstrate competency of working in an administrative role and be capable of following financial procedures and policies. Candidates will also demonstrate capability of cash handling and dealing with customer relations.

 

Desirable Skills: Computer literate and able to operate various software packages such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.

Swimming Instructors

Contract Type: Part Time

 

Description: We are looking for swimming teachers to join our team at The Sovereign Centre.

 

Essential Skills: Level 2 swimming teacher qualification or equivalent.  Have undertaken or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS Criminal Records Check and

Child Protection Training.

Desirable Skills: Knowledge of the national governing body professional swimming standards and the national plan/curriculum standards for teaching.  A current rescue Test Award for swimming teachers.  At least 6 months proven swimming teaching experience within a swim school background.
